ROLE SUMMARY
We are currently
looking for a Database Sales Engineer, on behalf of our client, a
commercial open source company developing a database virtualization
platform. In this critical role he or she will work for sales and
marketing, but just as close with engineering, customer support, and
with their customers to promote, deploy, and implement their
database product.
RESPONSIBILITIES --Interact with
customers to explain and demonstrate their technology through high
quality in-person or via web --Analyze business goals,
deployment architecture, schema, logs and queries, and position the
company for the lowest-friction, more performance-optimizing
implementation --Configure, install, verify and troubleshoot the
company's software on customer sites --Develop a strong working
relationship with key contacts --Analyze, execute proof of

QUALIFICATIONS
--Advanced

We are currently
looking for an Information Architect, on behalf of our client, a
leader in the pharmaceutical industry. As a member of the Enterprise
Architecture & Standards team this position is responsible for
defining the enterprise data management and information
architecture, including data warehousing and reporting architecture,
master data management architecture and the transactional
application data integration framework. This person will partner
with other IT areas including Application Development and
Infrastructure Services to develop logical and physical designs that
increase capabilities, scalability and performance. S/he will stay
abreast of industry standards, market forces and emerging
technologies to understand their impact and how they can be best
leveraged within the organization and technology
landscape.
As a member of the Enterprise Architecture &
Standards team, the Information Architect will participate in
setting the long-term strategic technology direction for the
organization with a 3-4 year planning horizon. Additionally, the
position will require strong oral and written communication skills
to act as a liaison between the architecture organization and other
areas within IT. The candidate must be comfortable working with
business stakeholders at all levels of the organization and be
capable of organizing and driving complex tasks with minimal
oversight. This position has high visibility and accountability to
