Description: ROLE SUMMARY

We are currently looking for a PACE Developer, on behalf of our client, a leader in the financial services industry. Reporting to the Manager of PACE Development, the PACE Developer will be responsible for the development, integration, and support of PACE related enhancements in support of their data management processes. The development team is responsible for all technical aspects of the PACE implementation (including importers, exporters, code release, service pack deployments, Advanced Reports, scheduling, bug fixing) except report writing which is handled by a dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years experience working in PACE as a developer writing uploader and exporter code. The candidate should be familiar with all aspects of the Eagle PACE warehouse, including scheduling, report writing, data stewardship and portal. A strong development background, with an emphasis on SQL code, would be preferred. A strong knowledge of back-office investment operations would also be preferred. This individual will be responsible for working with the business community to create business system solutions and perform configuration in support of user requirements. The Developer will also be responsible for ensuring that business enhancements are aligned to their strategic IT and operational vision. This individual will work closely with the business analysts to convey, clarify, and/or enhance the stated requirements. In addition, this individual will be responsible for working with the investment divisions and / or Quality Assurance to ensure plans for each of the enhancements are executed and that the final deliverables are accepted in a timely fashion. This individual will also keep the project manager informed of the status of assigned tasks. The position puts the candidate in contact with all areas of the organization and will be required to work closely with other members of the project team(s). This position is based in Boston, MA.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

--Work with the business community to establish functional requirements for any PACE system process enhancements, including new system functionality, version upgrades, and reporting requirements
--Work as part of a team of in-house staff and outside consultants to implement the required changes
--Work extensively with business analysts and investment professionals to analyze business problems, assess how they impact development and design, and recommend IT solutions.
--Support daily activity of the investment control systems areas by creating and maintaining custom reports and programs and by providing technical support for system and software issues.

QUALIFICATIONS

Candidate MUST have the following experience to be considered for this opportunity:

--Undergraduate degree in technology discipline or equivalent experience
--5+ years experience in an IT organization
--3-5 years experience in a systems analyst / developer role
--3+ years experience in the financial services industry
--2-3 years Eagle PACE development experience
--5+ years of IT related experience in the investment/securities industry. Specific experience in working with Eagle PACE would be a plus.
--Led and/or participated in successful medium and large IT projects from inception to delivery.

We are currently looking for a Principal Data Architect, on behalf of our client, a leader in the information storage space.The Principal Data Architect is responsible for the development and implementation of conceptual and logical data models for all persistent data structures across the enterprise reporting environment. The Principal Architect will drive the implementation of an enterprise data model in such a way as to maximize stability and flexibility while limiting the effects of changes in either the source systems or the BI applications.

This is a hands-on position that requires both technical understanding of the DW/BI development process and solutions and strong business communication skills. Data Architects must have expertise in the areas of relational theory, data normalization and entity-relationship modeling as well as dimensional modeling. They must also have broad data warehousing experience. Working knowledge of Informatica or similar ETL tools, OBIEE or similar tools and strong database knowledge is required. Having knowledge of any one ERP package will be advantageous. The person in this position will interact with business leaders, project managers, business analysts, developers, application architects, integration architects, and report writers. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
